What's a max bid?

Instituted in 1930. Multi-piece construction, in bronze gilt with white enamels, with hand-painted scenes on each of the three enamelled panels, illustrating Christ at the top, the Virgin Mary at the lower left and the Dove of Peace at the lower right, measuring 82 mm x 112.5 mm inclusive of its crown suspension, crazing evident in the white enamels on all three panels, the centrepiece slightly loose versus the base, contact marks on the reverse, missing its suspension loop, very fine.

Footnote: The Order of the Holy Trinity was instituted on November 2, 1930 by Emperor Haile Selassie I. It was awarded for outstanding service to the Crown, civil or military, including that rendered by foreigners, in five grades: originally Knight Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Member.
