What's a max bid?

Instituted 1955. Of French manufacture, an enameled white eleven-pointed star in silver, depicting silver points between the arms, obverse centre in gilt exhibiting an enameled scene of American ex-slave pioneers greeting tribal Africans, on an enameled blue-pale background, surrounded by an enameled red border inscribed HERE WE ARE, HERE WE WILL REMAIN, reverse centre with enameled blue-pale medallion depicting a gilded scroll of the Bill of Rights, surrounded by an enameled red band inscribed BILL OF RIGHTS, THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE, surmounted by a detailed 40.33 mm (w) x 67.52 (h - inclusive of suspension and integral ball), hallmarked twice with maker’s mark of French manufacturer A. Bacqueville, along with silver content of 950, on original green moiré breast ribbon with large prong, presenting loss of enamel on the reverse and toned silver, very fine.
