A five-point star composed of bronze gilt, each arm presents ten smooth rays, the obverse centre bears a superimposed five-pointed green enamelled star of Alaouite with the crest of Morocco in the pentagon, under the star sits the inscription which translates to “The Throne”, the reverse presents a single pin assembly, unmarked, measures 76.19mm (w) x 74.75mm (h), weighs 93.0 grams, enamel intact, heavily gilded, tip of central ray in 4 o’clock arm curved at end, overall very fine condition.
Footnote: This Order was established by King Hassan II in 1963. It is conferred upon civilians and military personnel in recognition of meritorious service. The Grand Officer class is limited to 60 recipients.
