Orden de la Mehdauia, Wissam al-Mahdawiya. Instituted in 1926. Of local manufacture, in silvered bronze with light blue, dark blue and yellow enamels, measuring 42.5 mm (w) x 54 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, chipping evident in the enamels on the centrepiece, original ribbon, on a traditional Spanish-style horizontal hanger with pinback, very fine.

Footnote: The Order of Mehdauia (Order of Guidance) was instituted on August 18, 1926 and became obsolete in 1956.
