What's a max bid?

WWI British War Medal to the 1st Battalion Cape Corp; KIA - (Pte J. CLOETE. 1st C.C.). Naming is officially impressed. Light contact and surface wear, bruised, very fine. Footnote: 604 Private J. Cloete, 1st Battalion, Cape Corps, died on October 10, 1918 and is buried in Kimberley (West End) Cemetery in Kimberley, South Africa, Grave Reference: Bl. I. Row A. For both the First and Second World Wars, Kimberley was the main centre for mustering and training the Cape Corps which was served by a hospital and a convalescent depot. Kimberley (West End) Cemetery contains 241 Commonwealth burials of the First World War, the great majority of them due to the influenza epidemic of October 1918. There are also 169 Second World War burials in the cemetery.
