In silver, green enamelled centrepiece, the star points in red and green enamels, with three faceted rays between each star point, marked with a boar's head on the integral suspension, measuring 58 mm (w) x 93.5 mm (h- inclusive of its bow and laterally-pierced ball suspension) intact enamels, on its original sash incorporating a decorative moiré pattern; and Breast Star: insignia in silver with green enamels, mounted to a ten-pointed star base, with seven faceted rays between each star point, hallmarked with a boar's head on the catch, hallmarked with a boar's head and maker marked "A.B. & Co" (Arthus Bertrand) on the pin, measuring 86.3 mm (w) x 82 mm (h), vertical pinback flanked by dual stays, intact enamels. Extremely fine.
Footnote: The Order of Glory was was instituted in 1835 by Al-Mustafa ibn Mahmud, the Bey of Tunisia and awarded to members of the ruling house, senior public servants and to senior officers for acts of bravery. It was awarded in six grades: Grand Cordon, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer, Knight 1st Class, and Knight 2nd Class. The order was awarded until the constitutional role of the Bey was abolished in 1957.
