In silver, with a green enamelled centrepiece, the star points in alternating red and green enamels, with three faceted rays between each star point, hallmarked with an eagle's head on both the loop and integral suspension, along with being maker marked "AB & Co" (Arthus Bertrand) on the loop, measuring 57.7 mm (w) x 87.5 mm (h) inclusive of its bow suspension, intact enamels, on its original full-length neck ribbon, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, maroon papered exterior, maker marked "ARTHUS BERTRAND PARIS" on the white cloth inside lid, maroon felt medal bed, measuring 85 mm (w) x 155 mm (h) x 39.5 mm (d), scuffing and wear evident on the exterior, case very fine.
Footnote: The Order of Glory was instituted in 1835 by Al-Mustafa ibn Mahmud, the Bey of Tunisia and awarded to members of the ruling house, senior public servants and to senior officers for acts of bravery. It was awarded in six grades: Grand Cordon, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer, Knight 1st Class, and Knight 2nd Class. The order was awarded until the constitutional role of the Bey was abolished in 1957.
