An Application for a Silver Grade Transport Squadron Clasp

An application for the Front Flying Clasp in Silver for Transport Pilots, measuring 209x299mm; and a list of qualifying missions, measuring 209x300mm. Both in extremely fine condition with folding crease, light scuffing, and two punched holes. The application is for pilot Hans Pfahler, Oberfeldwebel (Senior Sergeant) of the Reserve, born February 25, 1911, part of the Transport Squadron of the Luftwaffe Command East. The document is dated to April 15, 1942 and signed in blue crayon by a Major and Squadron Leader, the name could be Tillig of similar. A note states that the Clasp was awarded on April 29. The document comes with a second page that lists several of Pfahler’s 61 missions flown, qualifying him for the Clasp. The document is dated to April 11, 1942 and carries two more signatures in black crayon by the Squadron Leader.
