What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

An Award Document for an Order of Independence of Jordan to Austrian Military Attaché Schöppl-Sonnwalden; A one of a kind award document for a First Class Grand Cross Royal Order of Independance of Jordan to Austrian Military attaché, Dr. Hermann Schöppl-Sonnwalden. Included is the award document, a confirmation from the Austrian consulate on behalf of the Chancellor, allowing Dr. Schöppl to wear the award, as well as the original oversized award envelope. The award document for a First Class Royal Order of Independence of Jordan was issued by the Jordanian consulate in Vienna on behalf of Al-Hussein, Son of the Talal, King of the Hashemitic Kingdom of Jordan, to Brigadier Dr. hermann Schöppl-Sonnwalden, Head of the Central Department at the Federal Ministry of Defense. The document bears the seal of the honorary consulate general of the hashemite kingdom of Jordan-Vienna, as well as the signature of the Chief of the Royal-Hashemite protocol in blue ink. It measures 297 mm x 210 mm, and is in near mint condition. The second letter is a document from the Austrian consulate, on behalf of the Chancellor, allowing Brigadier Dr. Hermann Schöppl-Sonnwalden to wear the First Class Royal Order of Independence of Jordan, given to him on behalf of the King of Jordan on June 14, 1976. It is dated March 31, 1977, bears the seal of the Republic of Austria, as well as the signature of the section head, Dr. Jiresch, and measures 290 mm x 209 mm. In mint condition. Accompanied by its oversized envelope of issue; measuring 414 mm x 271 mm; with arabic writing and “Dr. Hermann Schoeppl-Sonnwalden” written in blue ink on the obverse; with light coffee stains; overall near mint condition.
