Slightly worn example in nickel silver, with minor contact marks, maker marked on reverse, textbook example by this maker, in extremely fine condition. A fine example.
Footnote: Design of this belt buckle first appeared probably around 1927, and was exclusively made by company “O & C” (Overhoff and Cie) until about 1931. Prior to that time the SS units wore the SA design buckle. From around 1931 onwards, the company Overhoff and Cie was still the principal maker of this SS buckle, however the other companies also began to manufacture the SS buckle.
