What's a max bid?

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

In stamped silvered steel, marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) and maker marked "M5/276" (Klein & Quenzer AG., Oberstein) on the tip of the HJ diamond on the reverse, with paper tag printed in red ink and stapled to the roll bar, marked with the RZM insignia, inscribed "Hersteller" (Manufacturer) and "HJ-/Koppel-/Schloss", marked "Nr." with the maker stamp "M4/115." (Klein & Quenzer AG., Oberstein) in black ink, marked "Nr. A" with an asterisk and the number "269421" printed in black ink, "BLOOD & HONOR" inscribed in black ink on both sides, measuring 47.5 mm x 64.3 mm, near mint.

Footnote: From the collection of approximately 900 German buckles accumulated by John R. Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
