An HJ Leader's Brocade Dress Belt by Christian Theodor Dicke
Buckle in silvered copper on the right end, marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia and maker marked "M4/22" (Christian Theodor Dicke) on the clip, the buckle measuring 50.5 mm. Belt is fabricated with a fine aluminum wire interlaced with white threading on the upper, with two rows of black embroidery running the length of the belt, the underside in brown cotton, dark brown leather tab stitched in place on the underside at the right end, with nine rows of two holes each for length adjustment, the pair of holes closest to the area where the tab is stitched to the body of the belt having been added by the owner, the left end of the belt folded over and stitched in place and housing a matching silvered receiving clip, the belt with two sliders with matching uppers, the belt measuring 43 mm x 940 mm. Silvering wear and contact marks evident on the buckle and receiving clip, fraying and wear present on the aluminum wire upper on the belt and sliders, the brown cotton underside exhibiting extensive wear and fabric loss overall, crazing and soiling on the very stiff leather tab.
