What's a max bid?

St. John Ambulance Brigade, Cambridge Ontario: Order of St. John, Officer (Sister) Breast Badge: silver with black and white enamels, with crosses and animals flush to their background (PRESENTED TO H BESWICK for Outstanding Service 1973), 38.5 mm; and Service Medal of the Order of St. John with five years' service bar: silver, 38.7 mm. Naming on the Breast Badge is engraved on the reverse, the SMOStJ is un-named. Un-mounted, each with its original ribbon with pinback, intact enamels, edge nicks on the SMOStJ, contact marks, better than very fine.

Footnote: Hannah (Beswick) Hawkins (nee Clegg), a serving sister of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, died at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, September 27, 2000, at the age of 88. She is listed on the Roll of the Order of St. John, Priory of Canada as having received the Officer (Sister) Breast Badge in 1973.
