In bronze gilt, voided tilted square in the centre, obverse with the letters "C.R.E." and the date "1900" in simulated Chinese character strokes, surrounded by the inscription " "NOT TO CONQUER BUT TO SAVE" ", reverse numbered as issued 703, measuring 32.5 mm, original ribbon, suspended from ornate Dragon broach; with safety pin as worn, extremely fine.
