Multi-piece construction, oval insignia in gilt metal with red and navy blue enamels, mounted to an eight-pointed gilt metal star base, each star point with five faceted rays, with a single shorter faceted ray between each star point, all eight points with a glass stone placed within a coupling, measuring 68.5 mm (w) x 106 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, a gilt metal clasp illustrating a branch with four leaves and housing four glass stones affixed to its original ribbon with pinback, extremely fine.
Footnote: The Royal Order of Cambodia was instituted on October 5, 1995, based on the original Order of 1864. It is awarded for eminent services to the Kingdom of Cambodia, in five grades: Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight.
