What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

2. Commemorative Medal to Congratulate the Birth of the Royal Highness, The Crown Prince of Japan 1933 (dated "1933.11.23" (November 23, 1933) on the reverse).

3. Medal Presented by Ma, Chao-chun He, Zhihao 1936 "Wei Yang Jiao" (dated "1936" on the reverse).

4. People's Liberation Army, Ji Lu Yu Military Region "Fight for the War Victory" Medal 1938 (dated "1938" on the reverse).

5. Commemorative Medal for the National Survey of Manchukuo Trend 1940 (dated "1940" on the reverse).

6. Second World War Victory Medal 1945.

7. Northeast Democratic Alliance Army, Liao Ji Military Region Combat Hero Medal 1947 (dated "1947" on the reverse).

8. East China Military Region, The Third Field Commemorative Medal for the First Heroes Congress, November 1951.

9. Cultural Revolution Medal 1967 (dated "1967" on the reverse).

All eleven medals are in copper, six with enamels, in a wide variety of sizes, each suspended from its own hanger with original ribbon and pinback. and two Vietnam, Democratic Republic (North Vietnam) medals:

Vietnam War North Vietnam Army Resistance Medal c. 1960's: in gilt aluminum with red paint, inscribed "Kháng Chiến" (Resistance), measuring 38.2 mm (w) x 36 mm (h), three gilt stars affixed to its original ribbon, accompanied by its 28.2 mm (w) x 12 mm (h) ribbon bar, in its plastic case of issue.

13. Vietnam War North Vietnamese Army Resolution for Victory Twenty-Five Years Service Medal: in gilt aluminum with red and light blue paint, inscribed "Quân Kỳ Quyết Thắng" (Army of the united kingdom), measuring 30.5 mm in diameter, original ribbon, mounted to a five-sided aluminum suspension with pinback, accompanied by its 27 mm (w) x 11.5 mm (h) ribbon bar, in its plastic case of issue.
