Wu Pei Fu Qualification Award for Virtuous Behaviour Enamelled Centrepiece Insignia (in silver with red, yellow, white, black, light blue and dark blue enamels, measuring 33 mm in diameter, chipping evident in the black enamels, the award itself having been lost to time); two Cap Badges: both are in die-stamped bronze gilt, one with text within a wreath, measuring 61.5 mm (w) x 47.7 mm (h), the other with a large star within a wreath, measuring 61.2 mm (w) x 46.2 mm (h), both prongs intact on each badge); and Unidentified Badge (in bronze gilt with red, white and blue enamels, measuring 20.5 mm (w) x 27.5 mm (h), vertical pinback, intact enamels). This offering is a part of the "Dr. Albert Goodwin Collection", a preeminent assemblage of world Orders, Medals, and Decorations composed solely by Dr.Goodwin between 1946-1967. Dr. Goodwin had a successful career as an educator and prominent physician in New York as well as actively serving in both World Wars with the United States Medical Corps. He acted as both President and Vice-President of the Orders and Medals Society of America (OMSA) and is responsible for organizing their first convention in 1960. He maintained further membership with the American Society of Military Collectors, the International Orders Research Society, and the American Numismatic Society.
