Four-piece construction, insignia in blue, white, red and yellow enamels, mounted to an eight-pointed star base, each of the star points with five faceted emanating rays, the red stars at 10:30 and 1:30 o'clock identifying it as V Class, number impressed "1186" on the reverse, measuring 56.8 mm (w) x 61 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, intact enamels, contact marks evident on the reverse, on a shortened incorrect replacement ribbon, near extremely fine.
