(Huángjīn gǔwù xūnzhāng). Instituted in 1912. Three-piece construction, in silver with green, red, blue, white, yellow and black enamels, measuring 63.3 mm (w) x 90 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring and its eight-pointed star suspension, surface wear and private repair evident in the red enamels on the reverse centrepiece, replacement ribbon, near extremely fine.
Footnote: This Order of the Golden Grain was instituted on July 27, 1912 by President Yuan Shih Kai. It was conferred upon individuals in recognition of exceptional civil or military meritorious service and achievement.
