(Tong Guang). Instituted in 1943. Wooded-framed on both the lid and base, with a deep purple patterned cloth fabric exterior, a rectangular purple cloth panel with a white release on the lid, gilt characters on the panel, the inside of the lid lined in red satin and padded, a white cloth-covered insert placed within the base and housing a recessed medal bed in maroon velvet, latch closure, measuring 102 mm (w) x 160 mm (l) x 30.5 mm (h), lid and case body separated with broken hinge, lightly soiled on the inside lid, fair.
