Instituted in 1912. In bronze gilt, measuring 31 mm in diameter, very light contact, original ribbon with hook and eye, near extremely fine.

Footnote: The Korean Annexation Commemorative Medal was instituted on March 29, 1912 and awarded to those who participated directly in or assisted with the annexation of Korea into the Japanese Empire in 1910, to government officials and agents serving in Korea at the time and to those who have demonstrated merit in relations with Korea.
