A winter cap constructed of multi-panel patchwork, olive-green wool with rabbit fur trim, the cap features fold down side panels with the panels held in position at the top of the cap by a thread loop and a corresponding button, the front features two metal insignia including a five-pointed star and an upward-facing wreath, the interior of the cap is lined with a black cotton-blended fabric, the interior of the cap presents two tie-strings for fastening under the chin, measuring approximately 20 cm (w) x 29 cm (l) x 18 cm (h), displaying minor soiling, and in near extremely fine condition. Accompanied by a black-and-white photograph of a Japanese soldier in winter uniform, measuring 6.7 cm (w) x 9.5 cm (h), and in poor condition.
