A Second War Japanese Military Reservist's Association Flag: Fabricated from medium weight silk, screen-printed in red and black inks, bright colours, Military Reservist's Association in the centre, the sub association (chapter) and group names inscribed in black ink at the lower left, leather reinforcement patches sewn in place at the top and bottom of the hoist sleeve, the upper one being original with two tie-cords attached, the lower one a replacement, 505 mm x 710 mm, evidence of soiling throughout, better than very fine.
Footnote: The Military Reservist's Association was a nationwide group that unified reservist groups, veterans groups and martial associations. It was established in 1910 and was disbanded upon abolishment in 1945. (C:146)
