(a) Group One:
1. Order of the Sacred Treasure, VIII Class Award Document (瑞宝章 / Zuihōshō): printed in black and red inks, on a thick off-white paper stock, illustrating the Imperial Seal of Japan in the centre along the top edge, the Order of the Sacred Treasure 8th Class award in the centre along the bottom edge, both of which are framed within a floral wreath, the framework for the text designed with repeating alternating images of the Imperial Seal and Paulownia flowers in a 5-7-5 configuration and are interlaced with flowers, measuring 580 mm in width x 450 mm in height, rolled.
2. 1904-1905 Russo-Japanese War Medal Award Document (日露戦争勲章 / Nichirosensō kunshō): printed in black and red inks, on a thin off-white paper stock, illustrating the Imperial Seal of Japan in the centre along the top edge and framed within a floral wreath, the 1904-1905 Russo-Japanese War Medal in the centre along the bottom edge and framed within a trophy of arms, measuring 460 mm in width x 360 mm in height, rolled, exhibiting extensive edge wear, with some discolouration.
3. Both documents are housed in a balsa wood box with sliding lid, natural look exterior, the box measuring 472 mm in length x 45 mm in width x 43 mm in height, the end lip on the opening end attached to the lid.
(b) Group Two:
1. Order of the Golden Kite, VII Class Award Document (Kinshi kunsho): printed in black, red, green, silver and gold inks, on a thick off-white paper stock, illustrating the Imperial Seal of Japan in the centre along the top edge, the Order of the Golden Kite 7th Class award in the centre along the bottom edge in colour, both of which are framed within a floral wreath, the framework for the text designed with repeating alternating images of the Imperial Seal and Paulownia flowers in a 5-7-5 configuration and are interlaced with flowers, measuring 588 mm in width x 458 mm in height, rolled.
2. Order of the Rising Sun, VIII Class Award Document (Kyokujitsu_sho / 旭日小綬章): printed in black and red inks, on a thick off-white paper stock, illustrating the Imperial Seal of Japan in the centre along the top edge, the Order of the Rising Sun 8th Class award in the centre along the bottom edge, both of which are framed within a floral wreath, the framework for the text designed with repeating alternating images of the Imperial Seal and the Order of the Rising Sun award interlaced with flowers, measuring 590 mm in width x 454 mm in height, rolled.
3. Both documents are housed in a balsa wood box with sliding lid, natural look exterior, the box measuring 475 mm in length x 45 mm in width x 45 mm in height, the box having experienced separation as the end panel at the closed end has come away, the end lip on the opening end attached to the lid.
(c) Four-Panel Document: characters printed in black ink in four columns, on a thick white card stock, with a vertical fold in three locations, measuring 307 mm in width x 228 mm in height.
(d) The aforementioned items housed in a large hardshelled presentation case, balsa wood frame, the entire exterior and the interior's base with a black lacquer finish, two insignia and gilt characters on the lid, the top insignia and adjoining three characters of text are raised images, measuring 124 mm in width x 505 mm in height x 140 mm in depth, with gilt metal disks affixed to either side, each of which illustrates the Imperial Seal of Japan and houses a dual strand red cord that is finished with a tassel, edge wear and chipping evident in the black lacquer finish on the lid and inside lip on the base, the top end panel on the lid having come away but is included.
