An Order of the Sacred Treasure VII Class constructed of silver, featuring a ball-tipped eight-pointed star with decorative ball in each interior angle, the obverse exhibiting a central silver Yata Mirror, legendary Japanese symbol of purity, plain reverse with typical Order’s Japanese characters, measuring 36.97 mm (w) x 41.05 mm (h - inclusive of ball suspension), light contact, on original triangular class ribbon with hook and eye; accompanied by its hard-shelled box with black lacquered finish, the exterior lid with gilt Japanese characters, the interior with purple satin lid liner, featuring a depressed purple medal bed, with functional catch, measuring 55 mm (w) x 19 mm (h) x 91 mm (l), minor contact, with light stained and flayed interior, very fine condition.
Together with an Order of the Rising Sun VIII Class in silver, obverse featuring an engraved silver symbol of the Paulownia Flowers, reverse with typical Order’s Japanese characters, measuring 30.75 mm (w) x 33.59 (h), suspended on original chest ribbon, with hook and eye; accompanied by hard-shelled box lacquered in black, the exterior lid with gilt Order’s Japanese characters, the interior with purple satin lid liner, featuring a depressed purple medal bed, with magnet for closing, measuring 58 mm (w) x 24 mm (h) x 94 mm (l), minor shaded gilt lettering, very fine condition.
