What's a max bid?

Laos, Democratic Republic. A Medal for Resistance Against the French 1945-1954

Lian-ga dtaw-dtahn jak-gah-pahd fa-rang 1945-1954. Instituted in 1974. In gilt aluminum with red, white, light blue and dark blue enamels, reported to be Chinese-made, measuring 44.2 mm (w) x 46.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, suspended from a hanger in gilt aluminum with red enamels with pinback, the hanger inscribed with the dates "1945-1954", extensive chipping evident in the dark blue enamels on the centrepiece circle, better than very fine.

 

Footnote: The Medal for Resistance Against the French was instituted in 1974 in a single class, for participants in the war of 1945-1954 against the French.
