In silver, a five-point star with clusters of etched rays, the obverse medallion features a sun with a face and two crossed kukri below, the reverse is plain, measures 60.3mm (w) x 65.8mm (h – inclusive of integral ring), weighs 32.4 grams (including ribbon), worn on a full length neck ribbon with a hook and catch at each end, glue residue in the knee between the 9 and 12 o’clock arm, light wear, remains in extremely fine condition.
Contained in its original case of issue, a textured dark red exterior, a padded cloth lid, with a removable blue velvet recessed medal bed with storage component below, measures 105mm (w) x 127mm (l) x 40mm (d), light scuffing, hinge and clasp functional, in extremely fine condition.
