What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

(Darjah Kerabat Yang Amat di-Homati). Instituted in 1954. The chain in bronze gilt and housing sixteen badges in four alternating positions, each bearing icons, consisting of four 39.8 mm (w) x 40.8 mm (h) three-piece constructed badges in bronze gilt with red enamels bearing a Raised Arm, four 40 mm (w) x 40.8 mm (h) three-piece constructed badges in bronze gilt with red enamels bearing Crossed Swords, the crossed swords themselves silvered, four 40 mm (w) x 40.8 mm (h) three-piece constructed badges in bronze gilt with red enamels bearing the Brunei Crown, and four 44.5 mm (w) x 30 mm (h) two-piece constructed badges in bronze gilt bearing a Mace on a Pedestal, each of the badges with four loops attached on their reverses, two on either side, each joined together by multiple links. At the front junction of the chain there is has a 45 mm (w) x 56 mm (h) three-piece constructed suspension badge in bronze gilt with red enamels bearing the Brunei Crown. Suspended from the aforementioned suspension badge is the 73.8 mm (w) x 73.8 mm (h) four-piece constructed Collar Chain Badge of the Order, in bronze gilt with red and yellow enamels, composed of an insignia with a centrepiece bearing a star within a crescent moon with four emanating rays, surrounded by a ring bearing an inscription in Arabic at the top and two sheaves at the bottom, with four Isosceles triangular-shaped points in red protruding from the ring, the insignia resting upon an eight-pointed star base, with fleur-de-lis between each of the star points. The two ends of the chain where they meet behind the wearer's neck houses a 20 mm (w) x 19.5 mm catch with slide release. The chain measures approximately 1,000 mm in length, of fine quality manufacture, with intact enamels and very light contact. Extremely fine. 

Footnote: The Most Esteemed Family Order of Brunei (Darjah Kerabat Yang Amat di-Homati) was instituted on March 1, 1954 by Sultan Muda Haji 'Omar 'Ali Saif ud-din III. It is awarded in two grades: Senior (Darjah Kerabat Laila Utama) and Junior (Darjah Kerabat Sri Utama of Junior). Post-nominal letters are as follows: Darjah Kerabat Laila Utama (DK) and Darjah Kerabat Sri Utama (DKII).
