What's a max bid?

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Instituted in 1970. In silvered bronze with red enamels, measuring 31.3 mm (w) x 67.5 mm (h), chipping evident in the red enamels on the star, light contact, original ribbon, very fine.

Footnote: The Gendarmerie Medal was instituted in 1970 by King Savang Vatthana, as a reward for brave conduct and meritorious service in the national police forces of the kingdom as the gendarmerie equivalent of the Military Medal.
