What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

(riviræsa meheyum padakkama). Instituted in 1995. In white metal, measuring 34 mm (w) x 44.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, contact marks, original ribbon, better than very fine.

Footnote: The Riviresa Campaign Services Medal was a campaign medal presented to all ranks of the regular and volunteer forces of the Military of Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Police, as well as civilians that were involved in planning or assisting Operation Riviresa from October 17, 1995 to 5 December 5, 1995), one of the most notable successes of the Sri Lankan forces during Eelam War III. This medal is one among few awarded to a serving senior political appointee, having been awarded to the Deputy Minister of Defence at the time, Colonel (later General Anuruddha Ratwatte).
