A lovely medal bar consisting of four decorations, measures 130mm (w) x 85mm (h – from top of ribbon to base of White Elephant), weighs 108.3 grams, ribbons backed by materials for raised effect, ribbons faded, remains in near extremely fine condition.
1. An Order of the White Elephant, Type III, V Class Knight, in silver, featuring a starburst pattern with a central white enamelled elephant, surrounded by a faceted ring, and a ring of alternating red and green petals, the reverse medallion with a red enamelled character, the badge is suspended from a crown suspension, measures 32.75mm (w) x 55.85mm (h – inclusive of crown suspension), dark patina, attached to incorrect ribbon on bar (remnants of correct ribbon remain), enamel damage to elephant, remains in near extremely fine condition.
2. An Order of the Crown of Thailand, Type I, V Class Knight, in silver gilt, featuring a starburst pattern of alternating red and green enamelled petals, the obverse featuring a Thai crown and symbolism, the reverse medallion with Thai characters, surmounted by a tri-leaf suspension, measures 27.95mm (w) x 39.95mm (h), worn on original ribbon, enamels show minor chipping, remains in extremely fine condition.
3. Rama VI Coronation Medal, 1911, in silver, a left facing portrait of King Rama VI, surrounded by a Thai inscription, the reverse also with a Thai inscription, measures 31.2mm (w) x 34.8mm (h – inclusive of swivel suspension), worn on correct ribbon, dark patina, light wear, in extremely fine condition.
4. King Rama VII 1925 Coronation Medal, Portrait version in silver, featuring the left facing profile of King Rama VII, surrounded by a Thai inscription, the reverse also with Thai inscription, measures 31.1mm (w) x 34.0mm (h – inclusive of swivel suspension), dark patina, small scratches, remains in extremely fine condition.
