What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Foster, edited by Angela Medlin, edited for Vietnamese by Ngan Dinh, published by MOA Press (Medals of America Press) of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, copyrighted by MOA Press in 1995, Printed in Korea, Library of Congress Catalog Card Number 95-75013, ISBN 1-884452-16-7. This is a complete guide to all military and civilian decorations, medals, ribbons and unit awards of the Republic of Vietnam. The book offers each decoration's history with all its different classes and descriptions. It begins with a Chronological History of the State and Republic of Vietnam, followed by About the Authors, a Grateful Acknowledgements, a Table of Contents and an Introduction. Each of the 110 plus awards is illustrated in both the color plates, and in black and white, the latter appearing alongside in-depth descriptive text in the body of the book. It is divided into eleven sections: Anatomy and Symbolism of the Decorations and Medals; State and Republic of Vietnam and the Loss of the South; The Medals; Procedure for Wearing Republic of Vietnam Medals for RVNAF Personnel; Procedure for Wearing Republic of Vietnam Medals for Civilians; sixteen Color Plates; Military Medals; Civilian Medals; Medals of the Allies; Addendum; Wearing Medals in the RVN Uniform. It concludes with a Bibliography and a four page Index. The book contains 96 pages of text and black and white photographs, printed in black ink, along with 16 colour plates (pages 17 to 32), all of the photographs crisp, on a satin-finished white paper stock, measuring 225 mm (w) x 287 mm (h) x 13 mm (d). This comprehensive and thoroughly researched book is a must for both historians and researchers alike . Near extremely fine.
