What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

WWII Army General's Shoulder Boards

WWII Senior Army General's Shoulder Boards - This set was brought back by an American GI following the Pacific Campaign. Fabricated from fine gold and silver bullion wrapped around a light orange embroidered fabric frame, multiple overlapping design, weighing 103 grams each, three large gilt stars and gilt button on the upper, black wool with chromed metal straps and clip on the reverse, straps marked with different Japanese characters, 43.5 mm x 142 mm x 20 mm each, gold bullion wear evident on one board exposing the light orange embroidered fabric frame, extremely fine. In their chromed metal case of issue, red padded inner lid liner with gold gilt characters, red lined bed with central divider housing the boards, hinged, 94 mm x 157 mm x 43 mm, light contact, case extremely fine.
