2. A General Assault Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, around a central Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42.73 mm (w) x 53.23 mm (h), weighing 31.4 grams, demonstrating moderate loss of silver finish throughout, in very fine condition.
3. A Silver Grade Wound Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “100” for Wächtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 35.93 mm (w) x 43.76 mm (h), weighing 21.7 grams, demonstrating near-total loss of silver finish, in very fine condition.
