What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

(Wehrmacht Abzeichen). A lot of three service badges, including:

 

1. Infantry Assault Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a ball hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Julius Bauer & Co., Zella-Mehlis, measuring 46.84 mm (w) x 61.97 mm (h), weighing 24.2 grams, demonstrating moderate loss of silver finish, in very fine condition.

 

2. A General Assault Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, around a central Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42.73 mm (w) x 53.23 mm (h), weighing 31.4 grams, demonstrating moderate loss of silver finish throughout, in very fine condition.

 

3. A Silver Grade Wound Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “100” for Wächtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 35.93 mm (w) x 43.76 mm (h), weighing 21.7 grams, demonstrating near-total loss of silver finish, in very fine condition.
