Austria, I Republic. An Honour Decoration of the Red Cross, II Class Cross, with Decoration, for Ladies (Collectors Copy)

A silver Latin Cross, with red and white enamelled arms, the quadrant of each arm joined by a ribbed silver rays, obverse with a central red enamelled Geneva Cross, surrounded by a red enamelled ring with inscription of PATRIAE AC HUMANITATI (COUNTRY AND HUMANITY), with crossed silver laurel branches with green enameled leaves set onto the lower arm, the reverse with central medallion with date of 1923 on a white enamelled background, inside a red enamelled ring, measuring 40.32 mm (w) x 50.93 mm (h), weighing 28.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon), on loop for suspension from period original bow for ladies, minor flaking of enamels and soiling of ribbon, otherwise in very fine condition.
