Austria, Imperial. A Lot of First War Period Austro-Hungarian Insignia
(Erster Weltkrieg Insignien). A group of three First War period Austro-Hungarian insignia, including a Bravery Medal in Bronze, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse with a central rightward-facing profile of Karl I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a central inscription of “FORTITUDINI” (“BRAVERY”) inside of a laurel wreath and above crossed standards, unmarked, measuring 31.25 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition; a 1925 Edelweiss Korps Schärding reunion badge, constructed of bronze, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 33 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a ribbon bar featuring five decorations, including a Tirol Service Medal, a Hungarian War Service Medal, a Silesian Eagle, an Austrian War Service Medal, and an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, joined on the reverse by a dark grey wool backer, unmarked, measuring 120 mm in length, in very fine condition.
