The badge in bronze gilt with red and white enamels, the coat-of-arms suspension in bronze gilt with red, white, blue, green and black enamels, unmarked, measuring 46 mm (w) x 62.5 mm (h) inclusive of its coat-of-arms suspension, spotting evident on the white enamels on the cross of the badge, contact marks evident on the reverse, original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, red exterior on five sides, the coat-of-arms in gold-coloured and white ink on the lid, black pebbled bottom, inside lid in white satin, padded and maker marked "ANTON REITTERER ORDENSJUWELIER WIEN IX. SCHUBERTG. 24", recessed medal bed in white felt, measuring 74.3 mm (w) x 131.5 mm (h) x 27.5 mm (d), the white felt of the medal bed exhibiting age discolouration, case also near extremely fine.
