Bavaria, Kingdom. A Bronze Prince Regent Luitpold Medal with Crown

(Prinzregent Luitpold-Medaille in Bronze mit Krone). Institute on 30 June 1905. An oval bronze medal, the obverse centre presenting the left-facing portrait of Luitpold, bordered by the inscription LVITPOLD PRINZ - REGENT VON BAYERN, the reverse centre presents the crowned coat of arms with the inscription IN TREUE FEST 1905, measuring 32.19 mm (w) x 63.62 mm (h), surmounted by an imperial crown and ribbon dated 1821 and 1911, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in near extremely fine condition.
