What's a max bid?

Bavaria, Kingdom. A First War Military Merit Medal Bar

(Ordenschnalle). A First World War period medal bar featuring three decoration, including a 1914 Iron Cross, II Class (Eisernes Kreuz 1914 2. Klasse), a cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border, the obverse with a raised central W, with the re-institution date 1914 in raised numbering on the lower arm, and the royal crown on the upper arm, the reverse centre with a branch of three oak leaves below the crowned initials FW, with the original institution date 1813 in raised numbering on the lower arm, maker marked EW on ring, measuring 42.89 mm (w) x 43.09 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition. A Bavarian Military Merit Cross, IV Class with Swords (Militär-Verdienstkreuz IV. Klasse mit Schwertern), a Maltese Cross constructed of silver, with swords crossed above the upper arm, the obverse central medallion presents the cipher for King Ludwig III, circumscribed by the inscription MERENTI (MERIT), the reverse bears the Bavarian crowned lion circumscribed by a buckled belt, dated 1866, measuring 40.29 mm (w) x 47.87 mm (h), on loop for suspension from original wartime ribbon, and in very fine condition. A Honour Cross of the World War 1914/18 with Swords (Das Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918), a straight armed cross pattée in bronzed iron, with crossed swords between the arms, the centre obverse displays a laurel wreath encircling the dates 1914 1918, the reverse presents the makers mark G.5, measuring 37.52 mm (w) x 37.52 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition. All affixed to appropriate ribbons on a 98 mm long metal bar, with a red wool backer, with horizontal pinback.
