A three place medal bar consisting of a Bavaria, Kingdom. A Military Merit Cross with Crown and Swords, Instituted 19 July 1866. A Maltese cross paty constructed of zinc, with crossed Roman swords above the 12 o’clock cross arm, the obverse centre presents a circular central medallion bearing the crowned cipher of King Ludwig III within a circular border in the form of a buckled belt inscribed MERENTI (MERIT) above, with arabesques below, the reverse centre bearing the Bavarian crowned lion rampant within a circular border in the form of a buckled belt dated 1866, measuring 41.92 mm (w) x 65.60 mm (h), on a white ribbon with blue and black stripes; Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Grand Duchy. A Long Service Decoration II Class Cross for 12 Years, Instituted 29 August 1913. A straight armed cross paty constructed of copper and silver, the obverse centre bears the crowned cipher “PFM” (Paul Friedrich Mecklenburg) on a pebbled background, the reverse bears the number “XII” (12), measuring 35.67 mm (w) x 39.90 mm (h), on a purple ribbon with blue and yellow stripes; King Wilhelm Honour Medal, (Kaiser Wilhelm Erinnerungsmedaille-Zentenarmedaille) Instituted 22 March 1897 by Kaiser Wilhelm II. A circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears the right facing portrait of Wilhelm I wearing a pickelhaube helmet, to the upper left is the inscription “WILHELM DER GROSSE DEUTSCHER KAISER” (WILHELM THE GREAT GERMAN EMPEROR) and to the right is the inscription “KOENIG VON PREUSSEN” (KING OF PRUSSIA), the reverse is inscribed with “ZUM ANDENKEN AN DEN HUNDERTSTEN GEBURTSTAG DES GROßEN KAISERS WILHELM I 1797 22 MAERZ 1897” (TO REMEMBER THE HUNDRED BIRTHDAY OF THE GREAT EMPEROR WILHELM I 1797 22 MARCH 1897), below is a cushion bearing Hohenzollern crown, orb and sword with a laurel branch to the left and an oak branch to the right, measuring 39.94 mm (w) x 45.40 mm (h), on a yellow ribbon; on a medal bar with a blue felt backer and horizontal pinback, measuring 97.53 mm (w) x 43.84 mm (h), very fine.
