What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

(Ordensschnalle). A medal bar for a Bavarian recipient featuring six decorations, including:

1. A King Ludwig Cross, constructed of patinated bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward-facing profile of King Ludwig III, the reverse bearing a central raised date of “7. I. 1916” over a checkered field, unmarked, measuring 39.56 mm (w) x 45.35 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

2. An Army Jubilee Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 31.85 mm (w) x 43.70 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

3. A Golden Wedding Anniversary commemorative medal, constructed of gilded magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 38.02 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.

4. A German Honour Legion Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 32.48 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.

5. A Kyffhäuser Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse engraver marked “HOSAEUS”, measuring 30.78 mm (w) x 47.06 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

6. A Long Service Award, II Class for 24 Years, constructed of patinated bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 45.27 mm (w) x 48.44 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.

All suspended from 172 mm-long bronze bar with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, demonstrating moderate soiling and material fatigue of the ribbons and some bending of the bar, in very fine condition.
