(Орден за Военна Заслуга). Instituted 19 May 1900. (1945-1948 issue). An Order of Military Merit, V Class Cavalier Cross, constructed of silver with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, consisting of an Pisan Cross, the obverse with a raised Bulgarian lion rampant circumscribed by an inscription of “ЗА ВОЕННА ЗАСЛУГА” (“FOR MILITARY MERIT”), the reverse with a central enameled Bulgarian tri-colour medallion circumscribed by a raised dates of “2 AUGUST 1891”, unmarked, measuring 46.12 mm (w) x 49.85 mm (h), weighing 18.4 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
