Medaille de Sisowath 1er. Instituted in 1925. In silver gilt, maker marked "FALOT" on the obverse, measuring 32.5 mm (w) x 60.5 mm (h) inclusive of its crown and laterally-pierced ball suspension, traces of gilt remains, original ribbon suspended from a silver bar with ball finials at either end, nice patina, near extremely fine.

Dr. Goodwin had a successful career as an educator and prominent physician in New York as well as actively serving in both World Wars with the United States Medical Corps. He maintained further membership with the American Society of Military Collectors, the International Orders Research Society, and the American Numismatic Society.
