What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Two-piece construction, scroll inscribed "PATRICIA'S" in bronze, affixed to a silver base bearing a crown with bugle horn via dual brass pins, maker marked "F & S" (Firmin & Son Limited of Birmingham) on the reverse, measuring 37.2 mm (w) x 29 mm (h) and 38 mm (w) x 29.5 mm (h), the latter one of which is lacquered, each with both lugs intact, the lacquered version with the lugs pinched, together, near extremely fine.

 

Footnote: The headquarters on mobilization was Valcartier, Quebec. The Battalion sailed October 3, 1914 with a strength of 33 officers and 1,083 men under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel F.D. Farquhar, DSO.
