Welfare League "Welcome Home" Medal: in bronze, obverse illustrating two soldiers loading an artillery gun, while two other soldiers looking on in the background, inscribed "WELCOME HOME" above and the conjoined letters "YD" below, reverse illustrating an open-ended wreath composed of two olive branches, the name plate un-named and inscribed "BATTERY A OF R I WELFARE LEAGUE TO "OUR BOYS" MAY 17, 1919", maker marked "GORHAM CO.", measuring 31 mm (w) x 33.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, exhibiting spotting on both sides, with original France and Germany Star 1939-1945 ribbon from the Second War.
