It is autographed by the author on the lead page, signed in blue ink "TO ERIC / Regards Warren Carroll". The book covers the embroidered and metal badges issued to the Royal Flying Corps, the Royal Naval Air Service, the Canadian Aviation Corps, the Royal Canadian Naval Air Service, the Canadian Air Force, the Royal Canadian Air Force, the Fleet Air Arm, the Royal Air Force, and the Armies of Great Britain and Canada between the years 1913 and 1945, complemented by pertinent historical notations. It begins with an Acknowledgements, followed by an Introduction, a Dedication and a Table of Contents. It exhibits wear on the spine from active use, with slight discolouration on the edges of the pages, the pages within remaining pristine. A terrific resource book for both the collector and the historian. Very fine.
