What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A hardcover edition of “Military General Service 1793-1814 (Canadian Recipients), Egypt Medal 1882-1889 (Canadian Recipients), North West Canada 1885 (Canadian Recipients)” by Spink & Son Ltd. Published 1975 and printed by Robert Stockwell Ltd. Containing 191 pages, this book presents a thorough list of the Canadian recipients for the previously identified medals, with a brief introduction to the Canadian climate during the time of the conflict. Included is an additional paper review by R. W. Irwin offering spelling amendments to the book. The exterior presents a red covering with golden lettering on the front. Lightly stained on obverse, light wear to corners and edges, overall, in very fine condition.
