A mixed lot of uniform insignia, including a set of Heer Cavalry/Reconnaissance Oberstleutnant shoulder boards, each constructed of cardboard-reinforced yellow wool, bearing four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, and pinned with gilded bronze rank pips, both unmarked and measuring 35 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), with mothing and material fatigue evident, in overall very fine condition; a set of Heer Cavalry Officer collar tabs, each constructed of dark green wool with buckram cores and bearing two machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire insignia bisected by yellow threaded bands, both unmarked and measuring 45 mm (w) x 75 mm (l), in extremely fine condition; a set of Heer EM/NCO collar insignia, each constructed of grey rayon, both unmarked and measuring 30 mm (w) x 80 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Heer NCO’s breast eagle, constructed of dark green rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 95 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with material fatigue evident, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.
