Germany, RAD. A Reich Labour Service (RAD) Long Service Medal, IV Class for 4 Years

(Reichsarbeitsdienst Dienstauszeichnung IV. Klasse). Instituted 30 January 1938. (1938-1943 issue). Constructed of cupal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, the obverse with a central raised Reich Labour Service (RAD) insignia, the reverse with a raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IM REICHSARBEITSDIENST” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE REICH LABOUR SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 32.86 mm (w) x 44.80 mm (h), weighing 22.7 grams, in extremely fine condition.
