Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse depicting a stylized Grecian figure above an industrial skyline, circumscribed by an inscription of “KÄMPFER DER GEWERBLICHEN WIRTSCHAFT” (“WARRIOR OF COMMERCIAL ECONOMY”) and “FÜR WIEN” (“FOR VIENNA”), the reverse bearing three raised figures pulling a rope, above an inscription of “FÜR TREUE ARBEIT” (“FOR FAITHFUL LABOUR”) and a dedication to “HERRN OTTO FRANZ KLEBER, WIEN, 1966”, with a double maker’s mark of “GRIENAUER” for the firm of Edwin Grienauer, Vienna, measuring 70 mm in diameter, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux blue leather exterior, the interior with a padded white satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted blue velvet medal bed, opening with a functional bronze snap button and a functional metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 108 mm (w) x 108 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), with minor loss of finish and material fatigue evident to the medal and case, respectively, in overall near extremely fine condition.
